N-Acetyl L-Cysteine NAC Powder
- Calculated at Checkout
N-acetylcysteine (abbreviated as NAC) is a compound that is found naturally in the body. It is a precursor to a chemical called glutathione, which plays a large role in detoxification of foreign substances in the body. NAC itself is a strong antioxidant; it can neutralize free radicals that damage DNA and cells.†

The taste cannot be described as good, but that is a testament to the fact that you are purchasing pure product here rather than product cut with filler and flavoring. I believe it has a high sulfur content, that is where the smell and taste come from. Most products I have gotten here have a milder smell and taste, but if you are serious about getting pure product at lower cost per serving this is where you want to get it. And as mentioned, you can also cap the product to avoid the taste, I just bought their capping machine and have used it for 2 other products. I always look to buy products here first, have about 30 of their products currently in use, just picked up another 2 lbs of NAC as I was running low.
Fast shipping, good price, powder seems legit, though NAC is too subtle to really know.
I don't understand the review stating that this powder was gross. Some powders have no taste, like creatine, but many do taste 'chemically'. That has nothing to do with the quality of the product, and may just mean that you need to put it in capsules.
I actually don't find the taste bad at all. Compared to almost unbearable powders like alpha lipoic acid or PEA, this is absolutely delicious.
This made me feel great and was good stress relief
I swallow the bulk powders I use with a little water, not this stuff.. This is by far, the worst tasting substance I've ever put in my mouth. I wouldn't even want to handle it to cap it, and I'd just be afraid of burping up the taste of this. I'd give it 1 star, but for all I know this is normal. CS here seems to be nonexistent so not going to bother asking.
