Erythritol is a type of sugar called sugar alcohol which has an naturally sweet taste. However, it contains virtually no carbohydrates as our bodies can't absorb this of sugar. Little to no glycemic effect, meaning it won't affect blood sugar, making it an excellent sugar substitute for ketogenic, paleo, and other low-carb/low-sugar diets. Erythritol is not quite as sweet as table sugar, gram per gram, but it can be used as the bulking material in baking recipes with the use of other alternatives such as stevia, monk fruit, or sucralose to add in the additional sweetness.

Erythritol is a sugar substitute also known as sugar alcohols. Add erythritol to foods and beverages as you would with sugar. Can be used in cooking and baking needs. Erythritol is 70% as sweet as sugar with little to no effect on blood sugar.
