Choline Bitartrate has been used for many years as a source of dietary choline. Choline is one of the B vitamins. Like other B vitamins, it is involved in a variety of intricate biochemical reactions involving multiple systems of the body, including the brain, muscles, and internal organs. Specifically, we need choline in order to form healthy cell membranes, break down cholesterol, and aid in the function of neurotransmitters in the brain.

Supplementing with Choline Bitartrate has a wide range of benefits. It supports neurotransmitters in the brain, it is important for memory and other cognitive tasks. Choline is found in a wide range of protein-rich foods, both from animal and vegetarian sources. You can get choline by eating eggs (particularly the yolks), lamb, veal, and fish, as well as beans, nuts and soy lecithin.

Suggested Use: 


As a dietary supplement, take 1 rounded scoop (~550 mg) with 8 - 12 ounces of water or suitable beverage. Taken 1 - 3 times daily or as recommended by your qualified health professional.

    Helps my memory

    This is a great low-cost choline for my memory. I take 1 teaspoon in the morning before breakfast mixed with 1 gram of pantothenic acid (vitamin B5 - Life Extension scientists Durk Pearson and Sandy Shaw say this is needed as a co-factor for the brain to make the memory neurotransmitter acetylcholine). I also add vitamin C and B-complex and trace minerals (zinc, etc.) and magnesium malate (to make sure my brain has all the raw materials it needs for my memory) and a berry concentrate and stevia for flavoring. I won't say it's a delicious drink (perhaps you can concoct one more tasty) but it is palatable and good enough to take every day. I'm 65 and without this I can't remember some names of things or people.
    Note: The choline powder gets a little lumpy, but I just transferred it from the bag to a glass jar so it's easy to break up the lumps with a spoon.
