The L-enantiomer form of Ascorbic Acid is known as Vitamin C, which is an essential nutrient that must be ingested due to the inability to synthesize Ascorbic acid. It is believed that the antioxidant property of Vitamin C is one of its greatest benefits. Antioxidants play an important role of preventing damage to important cellular components caused by reactive oxygen such as free radicals and peroxides.

Vitamin C is a water soluble nutrient well known for its vital role in the immune system. Vitamin C is also necessary for the production of collagen (a structural protein in connective tissue) and an important part of skin, bone, and joint health. Vitamin C is needed for amino acid metabolism and the utilization of many nutrients such as folic acid and iron.

I've been buying Hard Rhino's Ascorbic Acid for several years now. I use it to make home made Liposomal Vitamin C. This Ascorbic Acid is extremely good for people with poor health and poor tendon health. I trust the purity and quality of this product and I will continue to buy it from here for many years into the foreseeable future.

Thanks for providing this quality product!
